Many Hosting Companies (Goduddy for one) charge extra for email.
Not only that, they disguise it as a “Free Business Email” only to make an extra 50% per year.
Let me explain:

If you choose to activate your mailbox, your Office 365 email mailbox will automatically renew annually at the then-current price until canceled. You can cancel your automatic renewal at any time. ”
This means your Unlimited web space is actually 5GB of Email, the biggest user of space on a server. This “free service” actually adds an additional $59.88 Per Domain Per Year. (Hosting $120 + Email $60 = $180.00 Per Domain!!!)
I have seen many victims of this scam and they never even created one email but where charged)

As for Office, I prefer Open Office By Apache.
