How we protect your personal information
When you work with Zen Web Media — whether as a hosting client, a
website visitor, or someone who’s submitted a contact or audit request
— we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to keep your personal
information secure.
How your data is protected
- Encrypted connections. Our website and client-facing systems use
SSL/TLS encryption (HTTPS) to protect data in transit. - Restricted access. Personal information is only accessible to
the people who need it to provide your service — we don’t have a
large staff with broad access to client data. - Secure hosting infrastructure. Client and website data is stored
on monitored, regularly backed-up servers with security practices
consistent with those described on our Web Security page. - Payment data. We don’t store your full payment card details on
our own systems — billing and payment processing is handled through
our secure billing platform, which maintains its own compliance
standards. - Regular updates. Systems, plugins, and software involved in
handling your data are kept up to date to close known
vulnerabilities.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell, rent, or share your personal information with third
parties for their own marketing purposes. - We don’t use your contact information for anything beyond
communicating with you about the services you’ve requested, unless
you’ve separately opted in to marketing communications.
If something goes wrong
No system is 100% immune to risk, and we don’t claim otherwise. In the
event of a data security incident affecting your personal information,
we will notify affected individuals in accordance with applicable
California law and take reasonable steps to address the issue.
Your rights
For details on what personal information we collect, how it’s used,
and your rights under the CCPA — including the right to request
deletion of your data — see our Privacy Policy and Delete Data Request
